I bow before the Almighty who holds this earth, measures and rules over it, the one who always wins and is the abode of all knowledge in the form of Lord Hayagreeva, and the speedy supreme being. I pray to thee that my face and other parts of the body (indriyas) be fragrant. I pray that my tenure of life be without obstacles. I pray that the Gods of water be pleased to bathe me with knowledge and present me with a sanctified reincarnation (punarjanma) .
Oh! Supreme being, I pray to you that like the pristine origin of the Sun, Indra and the one who bore fire in her belly and like the all pervading force that emits golden arrows of light, the one who is without blemish and the purifier you bestow purity and divinity (mangalam) to us.
Oh! Lord Varuna, your very presence keeps track of good and evil doings of mankind and you bless them and punish them accordingly. Your very presence creates a pleasant atmosphere that is divine, pure and all pervading. Bless us with all divinity.

Oh Lord, may the power that helps the Devas to shine on the sky, the power that shines in the atmosphere in the form of different lights, the power that helps Mother Earth to prosper through showers of water which is the basis of sustaining life, give me divinity and comfort.
Oh Lord, purify me with your benign vision and pervade my body with your divine form and bless me that all your virtues be resident in me .

The one who recites the Pavamana mantra will be the recipient of the holy nectar that the Rishis have preserved and fortified by the Lord of Vayu
Goddess of knowledge Saraswathi will serve the nectar preserved by the Rishis to the one who recites the Pavamana mantra. With her blessings, Milk, ghee, honey and water becomes the nectar for the karta.
Pavamana mantra shows the exalted position to the seeker. Just as Kamadhenu relentlessly provides Brahmins with the purest milk and other inexhaustible good , pavamana manatra preserved by the Rishis is the sacred treasure left behind for us.

The pavamana mantra devatas adored by devas should give us all that is desirable in this world as well as the nether world in full measure– so we pray, Oh! Lord
Pavaman mantras can take the seeker to exalted positions. It is pure like ghee and gives enrichment. It brings prosperity to Brahmins. These mantras irreversible gains to the seeker and have been preserved by the Rishis .
May the Pavamana mantra that purifies the Devas at all times, purify me with a thousand strands.

May this prajapatyakriya purified by spreading hundreds of dharbha grass and started with Hiranyadanam be further purified by us, the vaidikas
May Lord Indra along with Suneethi purify me, May Soma with his consort Swasthi purify me, may Varuna along with his consort Sameechi, Yama along with Mrityu devas purify me. May Jatavedas along with his consort Uurjayanthi purify me.
